VoltInvoice (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user of the VoltInvoice mobile application.

4. Camera & Photo Library

VoltInvoice requests access to your camera and photo library solely to enable receipt scanning. Images captured or selected are transmitted to OpenAI for OCR processing and are not stored by VoltInvoice. You may deny this permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the app will continue to function normally.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your invoice data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data. We do not retain copies of your invoice data on any server. Subscription status information held by RevenueCat is subject to their retention policies.

VoltInvoice is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

All data transmitted between the app and our servers (including OpenAI and RevenueCat) is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Locally stored data is protected by your device’s own security mechanisms.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you.
